Default Windows Live email

when I get my email and try to open links (not attachments), I get a message:
This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this
action. Look in the folder options in the control panel. When I go to the
folder options I haven't got a clue what they are talking about. Does anyone
have this problem and is there a way to fix it so I can open links in email
pages?

Try to repair the File association by using one of these tools from Doug:

1. [Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs | ] Set Program Access and Defaults
| Configuration that's already checked | Browser: Select "Internet Explorer"
here.

1b. Now check your settings he IE Tools | Internet Options | Programs |
Default web browser.

If no joy, see:

2a. http://www.oehelp.com/ielnk.aspx

2b. Hyperlinks do not work in Outlook Express after you upgrade to Internet
Explorer 7:

Ignore the references to OE in the above.
