Default read only file

When I try to install the new version of Defaggler via Hippo.com the update
fails. The error indicates that it can not write to the
c:/programs/defraggler file. The file indicates read only so I uncheck the
box to allow the new file to be written but it fails again and when I go the
file I see the read only bax is checked again. What it preventing me from
allowing this file a read/write status?

Are you logged in with administrative rights?

The folder being 'read only' is not what you think it is. ;-)
