Default Problem installing a new video card

I tried to install a new video card in my computer. The
instructions told me to uninstall any drivers from the
previous card that may conflict with the new card. I
tried to do so, but only wound up disabling the basic vga
driver. Now I cannot see anything once Windows boots. I
tried using my S-video output from the new card to view it
on my TV, but the display was very poor and it appeared as
if the verticle hold was not working. I am at a loss at
to what I should do to enable the vga driver so I can
install the new driver. Any help would be appreciated

Nate,

Try booting into safe mode to install the driver for your
video card.
