Does windows xp automatically empy the recycle bin?
it's a manual operation; by default.
It is simply designed as a fail-safe idea, in case you delete something accidently. BUT, if you right-click on the Bin Iconselect Properties Tick the box "do not move files to the Recycle bin. Remove files immediately when deleted"ApplyOK. You can also hold down "Shift" as you are deleting things to bypass the Bin. -- Mad Mike "Carl D.
