Windows Start-up
Go into msconfig and click the startup tab. Everything
in there you can uncheck, none of that is critical to startup. The only thing you may want to keep is any antivirus software you may have. -----Original Message----- Norton Assistance alerted me to fact that ihave more thatn 20 items loading in "start-up". THey suggest no more thaan 10. I wentot configsys but don't know how to determine which items I can uncheck so as not to load at start-up. How does one go about figuring this out? Norton says you can alwaysmanually load later, but they aso say that some of these items are neededeven to runtheir own software such as Norton anti-virus. Is there an obvious list of items in Windows XP that I can uncheck? . |
