Default Video Resolution

I Have a problem with my video resolution/size on my ati tv wonder pro...this
was not only restricted to this MP!! also did this...I can only see may a
quarter of the tv when it is on the size of video is zoomed in only see maybe
1/4 of picture, resizing does nothing except keep aspect. I am running p4
3.33, 2gb ram, 512mb vid, on a 27"hdtv on dvi-vga dongle 1024x768 is
resolution of tv/montior. VGA input on tv.

I resized MP by going into advanced options and reducing digital video size
that solved MP's problem. Would taking DVI-VGA dongle off vid card and runnig
straight VGA ? correct this ?

Default Video Resolution

This is not a direct answer--A "conventional" TV video input will not
display 1024x480
If you are saying that you have a TV/monitor, the SVGA/DVI input to it may.
(My 36" Phillips HDTV monitor maxes out at the 1024x768 resolution when the
SVGA input is used. HDTV (1080i) is usually from a cable box via multiple
coax cables. (The HDMI cable box output has DRM restrictions on it.)
