Hello,

I have a problem.

My new soundcard don't works, cause i can't find the "line in" in reglages
of my computer.

'reglages' = settings or adjustment

Apparently the op found the place to configure the card (or plug in the cable).
Uncertain about the 'line-in' since its primarily use is for connecting an external device to manipulate that devices incoming
audio....unless that was the problem (no sound from the device) instead of the sound card itself not functioning.

Nothing was plugged in to the line in.
As a result, it did not appear in the mixer or other sound software as
expected.
I always thought the lack of "over ride" for things like this was a
problem. I believe there was a way in either XP or ME to get around such
mundane problems.

Well, if resolved (the device was found) as the op later noted....then something was plugged/inserted correctly (regardless of
where)
