Default Thought I was free from Win 8.1 keyboard sign-in problem

Thought I was free from Win 8.1 keyboard sign-in problem. Thought the question
was Secure sign-in option at User Accounts (netplwiz).
Ctrl+Alt+Delete and Left Ctrl were working as should be.
But unfortunately keyboard worked for only a few hours then the problem was back
again. I don't know why Win 8.1 has this problem. One thing I know, I'm not the
only one with this malfunction.

The keyboard is very likely a USB keyboard.
I've noticed a "bug" that seems to be win 8 8.1 related.
It has to do with a USB reset under certain conditions I've yest to
fully understand. I see it mainly with a USB WiFi adapter.
Somehow, even though the RF side is showing as active and functional
(Led color) the USB side is not transferring data. The cure (most of
the time) is to unplug the adapter from the USB buss and then plug it
back in. The process forces some kind of software driver reconnect, and
then things work properly. The symptom has been occurring mostly during
windows update runs.
