Default adding 2 nd hard drive to xp home

I added a second hard drive. How do I format the new
drive?

From My Computer / Explorer..right click the drive and choose format
or
Right click My Computer..choose Manage..Select Disk Management from the
Storage tree..select the drive..right click..choose format.

Now if you cant see the drive then you need to set your bios either to
autdetect it or manually enter it.
