Turning off automatic hardware detection
while booting up your computer .. hit delete.. this should
bring you to the bios.. then do your thing there -----Original Message----- Windows keeps insisting I have a new piece of hardware, that I don't have. I jump thru all the hoops coming to the one where I check a box that says "don't try to install again" or something to that effect. BUT, it keeps trying to install ANYWAY, everytime the computer boots. Is there a way to disable automatic hardware detection with XP? This is driving me batty! Thanks for any help I may receive. . |
