There's no such thing vulgar language. They're just words.

IIRC, The original meaning of "Vulgar" was just that it was a word than
many people used. Nothing about it being bad.

Anyway, I never really understood the idea of "bad words" (whether
called vulgar or something else).

Consider a certain product most people call "toilet paper". Businesses
call it "bathroom tissue" (as if that would make it any better). If you
want to, you could call it "asshole wipes", it's still the SAME product.

Yes, I will avoid some words, if the person I'm talking too objects.
That is RESPECT which is something very different from an inappropriate
feeling of guilt.

One misplaced adjective is "offensive" (when referring to a certain
word). There's nothing offensive about saying that word. If there's any
thing offensive, it's only within the listener's mind.

Indeed.

I was once told off by a neighbour for using the word "crap" to refer to
what came from the back end of a cat, because I had said it in front of my
other (religious nut) neighbour. Funnily enough, the religious nut wasn't
actually offended. When I pointed out that crap was the politest word I
knew and "****" was the naughty one, the first neighbour was horrified.

I remember listening to George Carlin's "7 Words You Can Never Say on
Television". Since then, I've heard every one of them on television
(regular stations, not premium cable).

In about 1980 the BBC in the UK allowed the word "bloody" on television.
Every comedy show currently airing started using it in every sentence.

When I was at primary school, aged about 9, when I went into the next
class up we were allowed to use the word "bum". The class after that we
could say "*******". However "****ing ****" still got me into trouble a
few times.

One of those "7 Words" things appeared on a local TV station. A group of
7 women calling themselves "The Magnificent Fourteen", then saying they
didn't want to be known only for their tits.

Another was "Monty Python Live at the Hollywood Bowl", where he said he
brought his own beer. "American beer is like making love in a canoe
(****ing near water)". That was on PBS.

Why don't you experiment with "osk.exe" ?

This picture shows a copy of Notepad with the
focus, and OSK.exe is typing into it.

https://s33.postimg.cc/3ncdzmhbj/OSK.gif

Clicking "Shift" arms it for one key press
and then the state should be cleared.
So "Shift" "f" types an F. There is a caps lock too.

I was wondering why nobody mentioned to use Linux-Junk. How wrong I
was to forget a nutter like you!!!!!!.

Linux Junkies seem to to like Windows 10 newsgroup; I seem to see more
about Linux junk (and Apple Bananas Mac) on this newsgroup than
anything about Windows 10. Could it be because Windows 10 hasn't got
any problems and Linux-Junk has so many problems that only Windows 10
users can resolve them.

And why does he think I'd install an entire operating system to solve a
problem? I already know the problem is software. I can repeat the
problem with another keyboard.

For both of you folks:
1). I didn't say install Linux, just use a live cd or usb stick.
2). Good Guy is a useless troll whose sole purpose is to hurl insults and
doesn't know how to post without including a bunch of HTML stuff just to
annoy people.
3). Most people go to Linux from windows, often using a dual boot setup.
I see very few posts where people switch from Linux back to windows, but
plenty of cases where people dump windows from their dual boot setup.
Personally, unlike insecure people like Good Guy, I'm not much concerned
with others preferences. Some people are stuck with windows due to their
work constraints.
4). To suggest windows 10 doesn't have problems is just a joke. Try
reading the posts in this group then compare to the mint group.
5). Although it's none of your business, I now use Linux Mint as sole
boot with windows 7 available in a virtual box for the only software for
which I need windows (Quicken WillMaker). Unlike idiot Good Guy, I am
aware different people have different needs and situations and what they
use is up to them.

Still too much hassle, I've never used Linux and have no intention of
learning it just to sort a minor Windows problem.

I use Windows because it's easy, and it has the most software to go with
it, and the biggest user base. I see no reason to change from that. The
only thing that might move me to Linux is not paying for a Windows
license, but there's always pirate versions....

4). To suggest windows 10 doesn't have problems is just a joke. Try

It usually works just fine for me. And it's many many times more stable
than Windows 95.

If I had to use another OS to use a certain piece of software, that would
be enough reason to ditch the main one.

Again this is complete rubbish. Most posts in Windows 10 are about
Linux, or Linux has been hacked again or something about that crap
called VLC or Tim just got mad about his Windo0ws XP not getting
updates. So you are including all these in your count of posts? You
must be mad.

As to Mint group, perhaps not many use that crap so they don't have
problems. What the **** has chewing gum got to do with Windows 10?
