I'm not sure what you're asking, but hope this will help. A normal RJ45
cable should be used to connect two PCs when there is a network device like
a switch, router, or hub between them. If the two PCs are to be connected
directly to each other without any other network device present, then a
crossover cable should be used. You should also note that not all network
cards will work with a crossover cable between then.
