graphics card driver update s3 pro savage ddr

i have a pro savage ddr graphics card with a driver dated
6th august 2002 do i need to update the driver? and if so
what does this involve.
i would appreciate any imput.

Are you having issues with your video? If not, then you are probably ok. =
Otherwise, go to the manufacturer's support web site, look for drivers =
for your particular model, and see if there is a newer driver for your =
card. If there is, download it, and install it!

I don't know whether you'd gain anything from updating, but newer drivers
are available:

It's best to follow the manufacturer's recommendations, but what I generally
do is: remove the old drivers using the Add/Remove Software control panel,
reboot, install the new drivers, and reboot once more. It's sometimes safe
to simply install the new drivers over the old, but I generally choose not
to risk it.

Go to the manufactures web site. Not only give you the latest drivers but
usally you can download instructions.
