sudden http error message
All of a sudden, I'm getting this message in Windows XP when I try to open
e-mail attachments or download files from websites: "http error 403. Forbidden Internet Explorer". I've tried changing things in Internet Options, running spyware and antivirus programs, and cleaning the cache but to no avail. Please advise! |

sudden http error message
Yogi, I've started trying the resolutions but am not sure this is the same as
the error message I've been getting, since it seems specific to accessing Windows Update. (When I try to access Windows Update, I get a whole different error message which isn't resolved when I follow the suggestions for THAT error.) I'll get back to your suggestions after Christmas. Thanks for your help, and Season's Greetings! sudden http error message
Yogi and others: After looking through the resolution suggestions in the
recommended document, I've decided not to remove my update controls etc. since the problem I'm having is in opening e-mail attachments and downloading anything. Do you know of any solution more specific to my problem?
