Default Win XP Home Reboots without reason

I agree it is probably heat. I had an AMD chip that
heated up and would just reboot my system with no
warning. I sent the tower back to the manufacturer and
they found the CPU it was defective and replaced the
chip. If you have a temperature monitoring program for
your motherboard monitor the CPU temperature and make sure
it does not go over spec.

During normal operation, Win XP Home will cause the unit
to reboot, losing all current data (word processing,
spreadsheet, etc.) for no reason. It does this several
times throughout the day. Why and what can be done to
correct this problem?
