Default File Explorer.

Win10 pro

Is there any way to have images in File Explorer default to "extra
large"? In folder properties, setting the customization to
"Pictures" gives a default to "Large", but I want "Extra Large".
Is there some tweak in the registry?

You can do this without editing registry settings.

1. Go to a "Pictures" folder (any folder) and set the
picture size to "extra large".

2. While in the same folder, use the File Explorer command
View Options Change Folder and Search Options
and select the "View" tab.

3. Where it says "You can apply this view (such as Details
or Icons) to all folders of this type", click the
button "Apply to Folders"

The "old fashioned way" probably still works. Open a folder, set its
properties as you want them, then:

View Options Change Folder and Search Options View Apply to
Folders.

Thanks, this seems to work.
