Default disk clean not responding

I have a Dell computer with P4 and 512 of RAM and I am
running Windows XP Home Edition.

My disk cleanup is not working. When I try to run it it
just hangs. I never had any problems before. I would
like to know if there is a way where I can uninstall and
then reinstall it again. I tried to delete the compress
old file from the regedit.exe but the problem is still
happening. This is the only program that I am having
problem with.

Thanks in advance,

Zoilo

Line 48, Right column "Disk Cleanup - Compress..."
Save on Desktop.
Double click the icon once downloaded.
The icon can then be discarded.
