can somone please tell why my microsoft updates keep failing at downloading

Select, Start, Help and Support, Keep your Windows up- to-date with
Windows Update, Review your Update History and click on the Failed Icon in the Status Column. What does it say? -- Hope this helps. that is the error code that is in the update history and clicked on the fail

well gerry, where it all started was cause i kept getting this error thing
