Adding USB 2.0 Drivers to my workstation
G'day all
I have added an Adaptec 3021usb 2.0/firewire card to my computer. Todate, I have not noticed any difference in speed between the old usb ports that came originally with the machine and the new usb 2.0 card that I recently added. This leads me to believe that I need to add a new driver for 2.0 or update my windows xp program. However, the knowledge base articles I researched indicated that if I don't perform this task correctly, I will make my usb 1.1 inoperable. Am I reading this correctly? Any advice is appreciated. Thanx and best wishes. |
