Media Player XP

I desperately need help with Media Player-when I put a cd in it starts
automatically-however I would like an icon on my desktop or quick launch
toolbar but where do I find an icon? Thanks

Start Programs right-click Programs and pick Open
click-drag-drop the shortcut for Media Player onto your desktop.

Carole,
1. Start button All Programs Find Microsoft Media Player Right click the
Entry Send to Shortcut to Desktop.
2. Then when the shortcut appears on the Desktop Click and hold it down to
the Quick Launch Bar to the right of the Start button Then Right click a
program that is normally hidden under the Quick Launch Bar Sort by Name.
3. If the program is not listed under the Start button All Programs, then
right click the application file and send a Shortcut to your Desktop. This
can be found at:

C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\wmplayer.exe
