Default Display in XP Professional

I upgraded to XP Professional from ME and now I cannot change my display.
When I right-click on the desktop and click properties nothing happens.
Also, when attempt to access the display from the control panel nothing
happens. I am unable to change the screen lock timer and such. Any ideas or
suggestions?

Thanx

Welcome to XP. You probably have to update your graphics driver. Rt click
on MyComputerselect PropertiesHardwareDevice ManagerDisplay
AdaptorExpand and let me know what it says. There will probably be a
yellow mark next to it.

There is no yellow mark

It is: Intel(R) 82810E Graphics Controller (Microsoft Corporation)
when I click on it the device status window says 'This device is working
properly.'

I clicked on the Driver tab and it was provided by Intel Corporation; date
6/8/2001; version 6.13.1.3198 etc.

Is there anything else I can do?

Yes. Definately UPDATE the driver, it's 4.5 years old.
