Default Windows Explorer Date Modified Format

How do I change the shown Date Modified date to mm/dd/yyyy ?
Somehow it changed to dd/mm/yyyy

Time is in AM PM format is looks OK.

Start | Settings | Control Panel | Regional and Language Options (|
Regional Options, but it usually comes up in that tab anyway) |
Customize... them Time or Date tabs. Or, just at Regional Options, you
can choose various nations to get some predefined ones - looks like
you've selected the more logical [sorry (-:] UK one. (FWIW, I have
yyyy-M-d for short, and yyyy-MMMM-d for long. [And H.m.s for time.])
