Default Messenger audio won't work

Xref: kermit microsoft.public.windowsxp.messenger:63633

Hi,

I've got MSN 6.1 installed, as well as Messenger Plus!
2.54.

Everything but the audio works fine, including the webcam.
I have gone thru the Audio Wizard {more than once), all
seems to be ok.
However, when I try the audio to speak to someone in
Holland it just plain refuses to work.
I also tried other progs, like Ventrilo, and again the
audio worked fine.
Am running Windows XP, and I do have ZoneAlarm Pro
installed. I *think* UPNP is disabled on my computer, not
sure though, and wouldn't know how to re-activate it
should that be required .

Any help appreciated.
Thnx,
MrDad
