You cannot edit a post once it has been posted.

Not once actually posted, but some softwares (or add-ons to softwares -
there's one for Thunderbird, for example) hold posts for a short while,
to give you the chance of second thoughts.

I might be wrong but I think "Send Later" is a standard Thunderbird
feature - no add-on required. And "Later" is when I choose to send, not
"a short while" - it could well be hours.

The way I have TB configured (and this *might* be an add-on) there is no
"Send" button, only a "Send later" button.

It certainly was an add-on, and behaved as you described; I don't know
if it's been absorbed into the main prog. (I don't use TB myself; I was
looking into it for my brother who was transitioning from Turnpike,
which does/did have the "wait a mo" feature, and someone who'd written
notes on how to transition TP-TB suggested the addon. I didn't install
it for my brother as it looked too confusing for him, I thought).
