Default OT but some advice needed

We need to find out the serial number of Adobe Creative Suite CS4 installed
on one of our machines.
This PC is being upgraded to Windows 7 (clean install) and all existing
software will be reinstalled too.
We have our original CS4 discs - but without the original jacket. So we
don't know what the numbers were!
For better accessibility and storage we had transferred all software to a
big "CD/DVD wallet" and the original bulkier jackets discarded.
For some reason the Adobe numbers were not recorded.
In earlier Adobe CS versions, as I recall, one could click on About in Help
in the Menu Bar and the splash screen would also display the serial number.
CS4 does not, it now seems.
Regards and thanks for any insights.
