a while back my mouse started to act up so i sent it back to microsoft and they gave me a brand spankin new intellimouse 3.0 which i thought would be a great mouse! i used it for quite a while with no problem, but just recently i've noticed a small blister
/ callis on my hand, coincidentally exactly where a groove is placed on the mouse. it is getting worse and aside from not being very attractive looking it hurts sometimes as well. i called microsoft and explained my problem and they told me they would tra nsfer me to another representitive who would send me a different model which "would be more accomidating to my hand". however when the line was transferred, the other representitve told me there was nothing he could do because it was after 30 days since it was purchased, and hung up on me. what should i do? i've scoured the website looking for any support forums which would be more appropriate to post this but this is the best i could find. any help or comments would be appreciated. |

You appear to be grabbing the mouse as if your life depended on it. Ya
don't need to. I hold the sides of mine with thumb and little finger with just enough force to move it. Only time top is touched is when I press one of the buttons with the necessary finger. There are pads with something in them that dissolves the compacted skin but I would see a doctor about what to safely use or other proper removal. Malv .. Put a piece of tape over the "groove", duct tape is the preferred type.

You sent a $3.95 mouse back to MS, and they replaced it? I doubt that. Go
to wal mart and buy a 2 button mouse with no grooves or wheels. Or learn to navigate without the mouse using the Alt click method.
