OK, 'fess up - this is all a big put-on, right? God, I hope so.

If so, it's the world's longest running joke. Andy has a posting history
that goes back to about 1998-99, when he used to post regularly to the
Roadrunner and Sprint groups, among others. At various times, he has claimed
to have degrees from both Harvard and Yale, claimed to own multiple luxury
homes, multiple vehicles, and one of my favorites was when he claimed to be
Maine's very first cable Internet customer. Sprinkled among those gems are
frequent claims of being smarter than everyone else and having IT knowledge
unmatched by mere mortals.

The reality seems to be that he's a mall janitor in a small town in rural
southern Maine. Besides a few meth labs in town, he says they get their
jollies by chasing moose.

It seems unlikely that he has the resources to have his own place, so he
probably lives at home with his parents, perhaps in their basement. He only
posts late at night, so he's either sneaking upstairs to use the family
computer when everyone's asleep, or more likely, he simply posts when they
leave the office unlocked at the mall. Other than being a complete idiot,
he's mostly harmless, except to anyone who accidentally follows his advice.

You're confused by technical terminology, and you don't know to
spell, capitalize, or punctuate a sentence. THAT IS A FACT

I can do all the above just fine

I assume it was unintentional, but thank you for proving my point.

AL'S COMPUTERS

Whoever Al is, if he ever sees what you post here you'll be out on your
ass. If I ever went to Al's Computers and discovered you were working
there, I get out of there in a hurry and go somewhere they employ at
least barely-competent people, that is, people who know the difference
between a "folder" and a "partition", and who knows what a period is.

Sorry, you incomprehensible spelling and grammar makes it hard to know
what you're getting at.

Are you saying Ken is 100% artier than you, or that Ken is 100% a kill
file? Please clarify.

I'm thinking you're pretty arty, too, this clueless dumb-ass act of
yours being a satirical performance art piece. You're somewhere between
Larry the Cable Guy and Yoko Ono.

Just don't download it when it says its time to and gives you the download
link.
that's what we did at work .
just because its ready does not mean you have to install it.
I made my own cd's of windows 10 home and professional and kept them for
when i decide if i want to install it or not

You made cd's of Win10 ?
Magic ?

Win10 doesn't fit on a CD.

Or was that another of those misused terms (partitions vs. hidden folders)?

No it was called a typo and unlike most of the posters on usenet i don't
care if a poster makes a mistake or 2
every one else seems to think he or she is perfect.
