MICROSOFT XP OS UNBREAKABLE WITH...
Well I read the add and decided to risk £8 of my own personal money and
heres what I thought: I wiped my machine and setup windows just as I wanted it, turned off automatic updates, and decided to challenge the theory behind the reset card - I DIDNT install an antivirus, which can be risky business with Microsofts latest OS on a broadband connection that just seems to hoover up all of the viruses on the internet. The card was very easy to install and just seemed to work! After a while of messing with my desktop icons making a complete mess (I messed with the icons to make sure the product worked before taking it on the net) I gave my pc a reboot, when windows booted up I was quite pleased to see my desktop clean and tidy. I then decided to give the card a real test. After visiting several "moody" websites I had ended up with aload of dialers, adware, viruses etc etc etc... after an hour or so my pc finaly graunched to a halt, I decided to reboot the pc to find that windows was just back to normal, no viruses, adware, spyware. I think this card is probaly the best thing available on the net today! It costs under £10 (wich is cheaper than any antivirus i have ever seen) It works and means that you can even show off by challenging people to break the computer. All in all a very usefull gadget! Thanks Bad Dog. I merely was pointing out the uselessness of THH's posting.
It mentions nothing of the 'product' only his joy. Kinda like, it's a wonderful day here ...come and join me! Where? I don't need to waste my time or my money to know that it is a useless piece
of crap. Your card cannot do what you claim it can do. You cannot seem to understand that there are people in the world who can see past the smoke and mirrors you so diligently use to try and pry a few dollars from them. The sad part is not that you take a measly 8 pounds form them...the sad part is that they might actually believe that the card would work as you claim...that they do not need antivirus protection...that they do not need a firewall...that their personal information would not be in great jeopardy...well you get the picture. If it were up to me, I would have you arrested for false advertising and wire fraud. At least in the old west, in the heyday of the snake oil salesmen, someone could run you out of town. Sadly, in this wonderful age, we cannot stop quacks and hucksters such as yourself from trying to profit at the expense of others. Can you back up a single claim you make regarding your product? Can you cite a single *INDEPENDENT* source that will verify that this card does what you claim it can do? I don't think so. You are simply a sniggling little worm that refuses to stop irritating everyone with your useless crap. Grow up. Bobby "The Happy Hippy" wrote in message ... If you get a virus or any spyware etc... all you do is reboot and its gone,
simple as that! I tried one and frankly im glad I did, I can now use IRC on Windows without worrying about trojans. The Happy Hippy "NoNoBadDog!" mypants_bjsledgeATpixi.com wrote in message ... The point is...you get the virus! Do you not understand that this puts any
and all information on your computer at risk? If you can get viruses, you can get Trojans, worms, zombies etc. Your machine will be infecting other machines until you reboot. Your machine becomes a threat every time it is on the internet. There is no guarantee that the card can wipe all infections on a reboot. The card is worthless. You sound like a rational and intelligent person. Surely you can understand that this card cannot give you any protection. It is junk. I truly wish you would understand that you cannot run your computer without adequate security measures. Everyone in your address book is at risk. Your computer becomes a vector to infect other computers, to integrate into DDOS attacks, or may be compromising all of your personal information to anyone who wants it. If you are in fact using this card and think it gives you any security at all...I truly feel sorry for you. You are too gullible for your own good. Bobby "The Happy Hippy" wrote in message ... umm, he's telling the truth...atleast there is hardware on the market that does this. i work with this kind of hardware all day at a local community college. they also have software that does a very nice job at doing this. the hardware, centurion guard (do a google search) connects to your floppy drive cable, and that's that. it includes a little lock and key device that hooks up to the device that connects to the floppy cable. the software, drive shield and drive shield plus, work by running in the background under a password. password on, software is enabled, password off, you can have your way with it. i have been using this software at my house for 3 months and have reduced my maintenance down to nothing. in case anyone is wondering about the level of effectiveness the hardware version offers, i deleted ALL partitions in dos, rebooted, and it booted up like nothing had ever happened. i have not yet tested the software version to this extreme, but im sure it would be no less effective. all in all, i think a bunch of you got a little out of hand for no real reason. do you guys just have long days and get frustrated when you come home from work/school? well, im not sure, but whatever the case is, just relax. and for what its worth, you don't need any antivirus software when you use this hardware/software. the school i work at only uses virii scanning software because its a state mandate. we don't bother keeping the virii db up to date though, there's no point. -- wind3D ------------------------------------------------------------------------ wind3D's Profile: http://forum.osnn.net/member.php?userid=6018 View this thread: http://forum.osnn.net/showthread.php?t=68509 |

wind3D im am at last glad to have found someone who sees things from my
point of view, I agree in the day to day running of computer systems it completely axe's maintenence time to little or none, it can also get rid of "nightmare customers" all in all a very handy and cost effective solution.
