Default open my computer in folder view

I have "My Computer" on the desktop and would like to be able to open it
and have it immediately in folder view (the classic win 98 explorer- two
pane view with the drives on the left and whatever is highlighted on the
right) not with the blue "system tasks" pane on the left.

I realize the folder view is only a click away (click on folder), but
would like it to be a bit more user friendly with one less click.

Thanks.

Default open my computer in folder view

This will create a shortcut to C: and open with Folders pane on the left...
Right click the Desktop | New | Shortcut |
Type or copy and paste this in the box:

%windir%\EXPLORER.EXE /e,c:

Next | Finish

You can also name this shortcut want you want.
