Can't open unzipped documents
Help please ! I recently had to have my computer wiped clean , before doing
this I backed up data. When I reinstalled my files they were zipped, got help transfering from zipped files, to My documents, but now I cannot open these files,. I did a search for help from microsoft, and several sites came up to download to fix the problem, but I don't know what to trust. can't find out through MS if they endorse any of them. Some of the files are just b*&%s#*t, but some are very important to me and my family. -- Thanks for any help, karend |

Some of the files are just b*&%s#*t, but some are very important to me and my family. Exactly what happens when you try to open the files? If you get an error message, please quote it verbatim. What kinds of files are these? Have you reinstalled the applications that are needed to open them? -- Ken Blake, Microsoft MVP - Windows Desktop Experience Please Reply to the Newsgroup |
