Trying to boot from USB device?
A friend has a desktop running XP Pro & has an HP All-in One device attached
to it via USB. When the printer is on, the computer won't get past the mobo's (SUSU P5VD2-MX SE) splash screen, but turn the printer off & no problems. I assumed that somewhere in the BIOS there was a setting to allow booting from a USB device that would be causing this, but there wasn't. Boot order is HD, Floppy, CD. What could be causing this? |
