Default Office 365

Email from MS:

You're about to get even more out of Office 365
We're making an update to your subscription so you can use Office on
all your devices.
With your current Office 365 Personal subscription, you can use Office
on one PC or Mac and one tablet. Starting 2 October 2018, you'll be
able to install it on all your devices and sign in to five at the same
time - that means you can use Office no matter where you are or what
device you're on.
If you have any questions, you can find more info here and in our
updated terms and conditions.
Your Office 365 Personal subscription will automatically update in 30
days, so you don't need to do anything. You're agreeing to this update
by continuing your subscription.
Thanks for being an Office 365 customer.

I have an Android smartphone. Presumably I can run the same apps on an
Android tablet. All of the Office apps (Word, Excel, Powerpoint,
Outlook, OneNote, and OneDrive) have been free and with no registration
from the Google Store. My Android devices are already covered with free
MS apps.

I already have the Office 365 subscription on my Windows PC (about
another 2 years left, afterwhich I'll probably go with something else).
Yeah, Mac is a nice addition for some but I don't have ANY devices by
Apple or Microsoft, and neither does my family or friends, so this is of
no value to me or them.

Just seems to be an update in the behavior of their licensing server.
