Default can the same xp disc be loaded on 2 pcs

-----Original Message-----
hi all
i have 2 computers that are for home use and i have 1 xp
disc that came with one of my computers i now want to

put
xp on to both can i use the same disc or am i gunna have
to buy another xp disc?
thanks

.

yur gunna hav to buy another xp disk. microsoft reads
the serial numbers on different componets of your pc.
(hard disk, cpu etc...) assigning additional characters
to the 25 digit cd key that they give you., they allow
you to change a few components of your system (i.e.
buying a new hard drive) but if too many components are
different then they assume that you are a pirate and
wont let you activate. meaning one xp to one pc.
However there is a pirated corporate version out there.
that can be loaded as many times as you want.
