MS IE7 - fixed size of window
Off topic, I know but I can't find a NG for IE7.
Using XP Home and recently downloaded IE7. I recently logged onto a website of interest to me. There were a number of links - some to other pages, some to other sources, including newspaper articles. With some (but not all) a new window comes up but with the maximise button greyed out - result a fixed size window with no means of scrolling or enlarging. If I right click and add to favourites, I can close it down and open it from the favourites folder. The URL is the same. I tried with another computer with W98 and an older IE and do not get the same problem. I assume it is something to do with my computer and setup. Any ideas as to what I may do about it? Sorry about being OT. Denis -- Denis Scadeng http://www.burdon.demon.co.uk/ |
