Default Dual Boot Installation MISTAKE, How do fix?

My ME was so messed up, i bought the XP Home to do an
upgrade. During install, an option to install in partition
C or D showed up. I selected C, but got a message that
said an Operating System already existed there --
Recommended to place it in D, so I did.

Now I have a dual boot screen, the C boot wont do anything
but give me errors from my prior ME mess. The D boots fine
to XP BUT -- none of my programs (all on C) show up.

Any help would be appreciated. I'm thinking I should try
and uninstall XP and try to Reinstall hopefully on C this
time. But I'm worried about how to uninstall.

thanks,
Phil
