Personal Settings lock up during Update.
About a year ago I posted about a problem I was having with updates.
After the update installed, the system would lock with the small window that said Personal settings failed to install. Yesterday after installing update KB4503293, the system failed again on the personal setting window. Everything that I tried that succeeded in the past to get the system started failed. I final found that by doing cntrl alt del, and selecting Task Manager there was a way to correct the problem. By going to the File tab in the Task Manager, selecting Run New task, and typing in Explorer, the system completed the install, and on subsequent start up, loaded as it was suppose to. -- Judge your ancestors by how well they met their standards not yours. They did not know your standards, so could not try to meet them. |

Why not simply Right-Click on the Windows Start Button/Logo and Run Explorer. Not sure what this is supposed to do but if you say it resolved your mental problem then it is fine for me!!. -- With over 950 million devices now running Windows 10, customer satisfaction is higher than any previous version of windows. |
