Default Folder Options

Click Start, Run and type "%windir%\system32" Press {ENTER}
Right-click on the file "shell32.dll" and choose Properties.
Click the "Version" tab and check the file "Language".

Note: It should be English ("English (United States)" in my case)

Default Folder Options

This was most probably caused by a Virus/Trojan. See this link:
http://avbscanner.blogspot.com/2007/...ewbrontok.html

The REG file I gave you reinstates the correct entries under folder options.
