Default Help !! Changing the XP Desktop Display properties resulted in "No Display"

I have a DELL desktop with a 17" monitor attached to it. Everything was
working fine till I accidently changed the settings of the Desktop
Display properties to something that now prevents the monitor from
displaying anything. Without being able to see, I am unable to restore
my original settings.

How can I get back my original settings without requiring to restore
the hard disk from the DELL OEM CD? Is there something that I can do in
the XP Safe Mode?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I tried doing that. It did not help. The only option that I saw was the
640 option.

When you snip the previous comments, nobody knows what
you're talking about.
What you need to say...
What video card do you have
What monitor
What did you do that caused the problem
What have you tried to fix it
Details are required, not just a general "everything"

Have you tried the device manager/display adapter
troubleshooter?
