print spooler
You have the exact problem that I had, which gave me hope
that there was probably a fix. I found it in another place on the MS site. Here is the link for the directions http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en- us;314876. Note: My system was already set on "automatic" but I unselected it and then selected it again and did click on the "start" button, which is the last instruction. It worked for me--hope it does for you too. LL -----Original Message----- some way some how the print spooler program associated with XP got lost or deleted after a power outage. now i can't add/delete my printer, print or even manually start the print spooler. how do i recover it? do i re-load xp or is it in a cab file? why won't XP re-load over itself? how do i fix my print spooler problem? please help, thanks in advance, wayne . |
