Default Default for XP Temp Files???

I tried having the Temp files go to a different drive; I'm not sure it's
working smoothly. I'd like to restore the file locations to the default.
But what is the default? I'm using XP Home.

The default location is under Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local
Settings\Temporary Internet Files.

Worked fine for me but if you want to return to the default, enter
"%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temp" in Environmental Variables under
User Settings for tmp & temp files.
