Default Importin emoticons to Windows Live Messenger

Hello,

I have looked everywhere including this site but can't seem to find
anything on how to import/add custom icons into Windows Live Messenger.

I know you can "create a new icon" however, when I do that it adjusts
the size of the emoticon to a much smaller size, and I don't want that
to happen. I know you can add custom emoticons at their normal size but
I do not know how.

And is there a way to import a bunch at a time instead of one at a
time?
