Yes. I am on Comcast and had an issue for the past 2 days. It appears to
be fixed as of this afternoon (January 31).

I'm on Comcast, too, and I first noticed this last night, though it
could have been going on longer. I was prepared to try some of the
workarounds mentioned in the article, like changing DNS servers, but
it seems to be fixed now - when I check for updates it finds none,
but the process looks normal and I get no errors.

This reminds me of another issue that appears to involve Comcast and
DNS. On my Linux computer, I cannot connect to the official Comcast
IMAP mail server. I guess what's supposed to happen is that the
offical address is silently redirected to another address. The
workaround has been to use the redirected address rather than the
offical address. There are lots of other users with the same
problem. It only affects Comcast's IMAP server (possibly their POP3
server as well) and it only affects certain versions of Linux Mint!
It's unclear whether it's a Comcast problem or Mint's. One of these
days I'll undo the workaround to see if it's been fixed, but it's
working OK for now.
