Default get rid of the "Pin this program to taskbar" context menu item

hi there, is there any way to customize the right click context menu of
the taskbar and hide the "Pin this program to taskbar" menu item?

see my screenshot: http://6g6.eu/sih0-screenshot85.png (italian UI)

I hate that feature and I think it's useless... but sometimes I
accidentally click on it and this annoys me since I have then to unpin it.

so do you know if there some tweak or software I can use to remove it or
hide it from the context menu?

thanks, Tommy

See:
https://thecustomizewindows.com/2011...-in-windows-7/
(found by a Bing search on '"pin to taskbar" context menu remove')

If you are repeatedly clicking on Pin to Taskbar in the context menu in
Windows Explorer then you have a behaviorial problem in your mousing
skills. Anything you rarely accidentally pin to the taskbar can be
easily unpinned, so you must be accidentally hitting Pin to Taskbar a
lot for it to be such a nuisance. Perhaps you right-click but hold down
the mouse button and then drag the mouse pointer to the context menu
entry and then release the button. Change your habit to right-click and
release and then left-click on a context menu entry. Another problem is
that perhaps you are resting your finger too heavily on the mouse button
so it clicks when you don't intend to click. A stiffer mouse, or a
longer mouse (so your fingers aren't so curled), or raising your finger
would solve that problem source. You can also right-click to show the
context menu but move the mouse outside the dialog box to bring the
pointer back into the box where is the selection you intend to make.

Removing an accidentally pinned item in the taskbar is easy.
Accidentally doing it so often enough as to warrant a need to modify the
context menu exhibits a mousing problem by the user or an overly
sensitive mouse button. If you are repeatedly accidentally hitting the
Pin to Taskbar context menu item then you are doing the same repeated
accidental clicks on other context menu items. Need to change the
hardware or its settings or modify your behavior to reduce the count of
accidents.

Note that I assumed you are using a mouse pointing device. If you are
using a touchpad, you might want to plug in a mouse to your computer and
use that as your pointing device (and optionally hit the button to
disable the touchpad). Or, if you want to continue using the touchpad,
reduce its sensitivity setting. Some touchpads are set to be overly
sensitive so just the nearness of the palm can trigger a mouse event.

Maybe this will do it:

thanks for the link but this is effective only in right click context
menus you open when you right click on an exe file in a folder

the "pin to taskbar" item I've show in my screenshot is the one you see
right-clicking on a taskbar minimized item.

I don't want to change my touchpad habits...
as said before I never use that option so there's no way I will click it
on purpose but only be error when working fast... so I'd prefer to remove
it at all

So did you actually try the article's workaround to see if it also
removes the Pin to Taskbar context menu entry when right-clicking on a
taskbar button for a currently running windowed application? Or did you
assume that Windows Explorer was different and separate of the taskbar
which is an object owned by the desktop manager? It is not clear in
your response that you actually tried the workaround.

Both Windows Explorer and the desktop manager are explorer.exe. That
is, explorer.exe is both the Windows Explorer and the desktop manager.
I would think modifying the context menu for Windows Explorer
(explorer.exe) would also modify the context menu for the desktop
manager (explorer.exe) for its taskbar object.

If you never want an app (running or not) pinned to the Taskbar then
disable taskbar pinning altogether. Some users don't like the mixing of
buttons for currently running windowed apps with the shortcuts (which
could be for a running or non-running apps). See:

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...e-disable.html

If you don't want to change registry entries by double-clicking on a
..reg file, you could edit the .reg file and see what it proposes for
changes and do them yourself or just to understand what changes will
effect the disable/enable of taskbar pinning.

I tried the registry tweak proposed in that article and it only worked in
folders right click menus not in the right click menu of the taskbar

then I noticed that this one is also called jump list and I've found an
app 7+ Taskbar tweaker that finally allowed me to remove it and replace
with the good old WinXp-like context menu
