Default Windows fax program doesnt recognize printer.

Hello,

I have a Fax/Printer installed on my computer and connected by USB. I
installed Windows Fax Console but when I start the Fax Configure option it
always asks me if I want to install a fax modem in my computer. I say no,
but in the fax properties, under devices I cant choose the device because he
drop down menu is empty.

What am I doing Wrong?

You're doing absolutely nothing wrong. Windows XP Fax cannot use a Fax
machine/Fax-Printer/All-in-one Fax-Scan-Print device to send and receive
faxes, the only device it will work with is an Analog Fax modem and that is
why its asking you to install one.
