I just recently got a new computer which runs WinXP and
have been "trying" to work on my Web Pages which are
hosted in Geocities. Everytime I get into my directory
and add html then go to save I get the following Error
Message:
Error Signature
APP NAME: iexplore.exe
APP VER: 6.0.2800.1106
Mod NAME: mshtml.dll
Mod VER: 6.0.2800.1106
OFFSET: 000ddead
Then it shuts me down and I have to reboot.
My computer is a Compaq Presario
1.2GHZ Processor
128MB SDRAM
Can anyone please tell me what that means? Is this a
problem within WINXP or Internet Explorer or just
Geocities?
Thank you for any suggestions as to how I can resolve this
Error.
Elizabeth

When was the last time you visited the Windows Update web site?
Go there now and download the critical updates.

Thank You Nicholas, I will go there and try that. I have
only had this computer for 2 weeks so I didn't think it
would need an update already.......LOL
