TaSK MANAGER

Help the PC tells me that I have disabled Task manager .I
have no idea how this has happened and can't find any
info on how to put it back !! Any ideas?

What is the message you're getting?

Have you been anywhere near the group policy editor ?

Does the message say, Task Manager Has Been disabled by your Administrator?

Check using the group policy editor

start/run
gpedit.msc

Navigate down in the left pane under

User Configuration\Administrative Templates\System\ctrl+alt+del options

In the right hand pane the top option should be, "Remove Task Manger"

Is this set to "Enabled" ?

If so,change it to "Not Configured"
