Default CD Key

This won't help much but may either be a good starting
point for you or spark a memory in someone else.

I did a reinstall once and after I entered my CD-key for
the XP Pro it told me that it had already been registered
nd an 800 number popped up. Since my computer had
internet access I told them my problem and they reset my
registration key and told me the new one. Now for the bad
news, I don't have the 800 number. If you find it call
first before you reformat just to be safe.

-----Original Message-----
I was planning on formatting my hard drive the other day
when I realized I had thrown out the case for my Windows
XP CD which has the CD key on it. Is there some way I can
still get the CD key for my copy of Windows XP so I can

re-
install it?
