Help with power point...
Hi,
This is a pretty big request, but I'm hoping someone will help me out. I would "REALLY APPRECIATE" it! This Power Point thing is confusing! My professors have sent class notes by way of Power Point. I have a list of 14 files (chapters 1-14). I would like to open one chapter (file) at a time, view it, probably modify it a bit, and then print it. When I click on the "open" option in the WinZip- Power Point Notes.zip window ("new", "open", "favorites", "add", "extract", etc.), all I get is the another WinZip-Power Point Notes.zip window with the same list of files I'm trying to open. So, instead, I've been double clicking on a each file in order to open it. But, then I was told this is not the right thing to do. I'm supposed to be extracting the file...HUH? Can someone please tell me the steps involved (in VERY simple terms) when opening a file (presentation) in Power Point? Also, can I change the slides to black and white and then save them like that? Or, do I save it as is (in color), and set my printer to print in grayscale? Abby |

Help with power point...
Hi Abby,
First I would extract ALL the files in the ZIP file to a temporary folder ( WinZip will extract and create the folder on the fly for you - so tell it to extract to c:\abby_powerpoint_files & it will create c:\abby_powerpoint_files folder automatically and place all the files there for you ) Then you can open the files in powerpoint much more easily ! Do you have the full Power Point program on your computer ? If not you can download a Power Point reader from Microsoft's web site. Hope I've understood your needs OK. cheers - Dave Porter Abby wrote: Hi, This is a pretty big request, but I'm hoping someone will help me out. I would "REALLY APPRECIATE" it!
