I have a strange problem on one of my computers. When I get on the internet
it shows the home page but two photos do not show see photo
http://www3.sympatico.ca/amylars/Screen.JPG. On my other computer I have no
problems. Also if I go to msn.com I have the same problem but it says "The
page cannot be displayed" in the blank spaces. Does anyone know how to fix
this? It doesn't happen on all web pages but some are totally useless.

I appreciate any help on this.

Lars

We had some computers not showing graphics correctly after XP SP2, fixed by
this:

Tools, Internet Option, Advanced, Allow active content to run in files on My
Computer

You are showing some ads being suppressed.
Perhaps you have some software in place which is doing this for you.
(There are other possible explanations too. E.g. your HOSTS file may
be misdirecting all lookups for an advertiser's domain.)

To start with use View Source to find the src= URL associated with
the image which is not showing, copy it to an IE Address bar and
open it. If there is no src= operand or if it has been replaced
by an invalid address you will have identified the reason for the symptom.

Notes: omit any enclosing doublequotes. You can't search
for that Click here! string as it appears; it was encoded as

Good luck
