uopdates available,but wont install

Default uopdates available,but wont install

hiyall, gosh the trouble i had to get to write this.had tio disable pop up
blockers, but anyway, the problem is my computer keeps telling me that
updates are available but wont install them. i have windows xp professional
with sp2 and the available update it keeps telling me about is office sp3,
can i do anything to clear it

You could try asking your Q in public.windowsupdate - I am sure I have seen
probs. re Office updates - there are thousands of probs. this month.
Might be worth doing a 'find' on the KB number first.
Also a bit more info, like which office, how you have tried to install, how
many will not install.

sorry i didnt write down the error number, and have never installed office,
it all came with windows pro with sp2 in it

Office did not come with Windows XP. It is a separate product.
